Certificate IV in Multimedia (CUF40801)

The Certificate IV in Multimedia at Victoria University provides multimedia training for people who want to produce, edit or test multimedia products such as animations, graphics, games, CDROMs and interfaces.

The industry focus of The Certificate IV in Multimedia prepares students for the demands of the workplace by providing relevant experience in multimedia communications, problem solving and interactive design.

The Certificate IV in Multimedia equips students with specialised and innovative multimedia skills whilst encouraging professional development through the completion of individual and team based projects.

The one year program specialises in 2D design and animation, writing for multimedia, database design, and multimedia authoring.

A credit pathway exists from the Certificate IV to the Advanced Diploma of Multimedia, which in turn provides entry to the third year of Victoria University’s Bachelor of Arts Degree in Multimedia.

Entry Requirements
Entry to The Advanced Diploma of Multimedia at VU for full time study is obtained through VTAC and by interview/folio presentation. Applicants must complete the VTAC Application form and apply online. Interviews and folio presentations are generally conducted in late November/early December.
