Music
Facilities
Our courses are taught in new and impressive facilities offering
maximum hands-on individual access and industry standard computer equipment and software. These
facilities are located at the Sunbury campus.
Performance
We have excellent performance spaces. Students have access
to a large number of rehearsal spaces that
include a comprehensive range of equipment such as rhythm
instruments, amplifiers, PA systems, synths, software and
processors - all available to assist the development of music
performance and ensemble skills. All of the spaces are available
for students to use after hours. We also have a performance
space that can accommodate 200 people and has an installed PA and
lighting system.

Studios and Technology
Our new computer lab contains 21 Apple Mac G5s and music keyboards
running the latest music software including Pro Tools LE with M-boxes,
Cubase SL, Reason, Ableton Live, Sibelius, Final Cut Pro,
Macromedia Studio MX and much more. We also have seven control
rooms (2 are used for surround sound mixing) that connect to various recording spaces, all with a wide
range of plug-ins, outboard gear and microphones. All of our main
teaching spaces are equipped with data projection and Internet
access, so that our staff can easily and clearly demonstrate
software techniques to an entire classroom of students. Our new
performance space features a large installed PA for live sound
tuition and practical experience - a must for anyone who wants to
work in live sound. All of these spaces are available for students
to access after hours in order to complete assignments and also
gain extra experience. We also allow students after hours access to portable
recording equipment, microphones and video cameras.
