Our Bachelor of Music (Technology) course enables you to develop highly advanced
skills in your selected area of study and
encourages a deeper understanding of cultural
contexts in the various areas of specialisation.
Entry into our Degree course
requires the successful completion of a nationally recognised Diploma
(or equivalent) in the
appropriate field of study.
Bachelor of Music (Technology)
Our Bachelor of Music (Technology) incorporates the
traditions of music
technology within an academic environment by fostering creative
and practical skills in production, composition and technology.
Subjects include:

- sound design
- music in society
- advanced digital audio theory
- advanced mastering
- multimedia applications
- Internet and streaming audio
- advanced synchronisation
- music business
Electives include:
- arranging
- remixing
- broadcast systems

- real-time interactive performance systems
- music direction - production

The Bachelor of Music (Technology) course
is delivered at the Sunbury Campus.
How long is the course?
The Bachelor of Music (Technology) course
is offered on a full time
basis over 2 years (pre-requisite for entry includes a
nationally recognised Diploma (or equivalent) in the relevant
field of study and an interview).
How much are the fees?
All places in the course are Commonwealth supported places
(excepting for International students). HECS Higher Education Fees apply for these courses. For more
