Folio requirements and interview
Folio
Applicants to Professional Writing & Editing also need to submit a folio of 1000-1500 words of writing with their application.
This can comprise a number of small items, or fewer longer pieces of fiction or non-fiction writing, or a combination of both. Poetry is not accepted.
The pieces of writing might be things you have worked on at school, in a workplace, with a community group or as your own projects.
The interview
We ask all applicants to do a basic language skills test and a writing exercise when they attend for their interview.
You will be interviewed by a member of our teaching staff. Come prepared to discuss your reasons for applying for the course and your writing aspirations. Feel free to ask questions about the course.
