Visual Art

Our visual art courses are dedicated to the development of solid technical and composition skills. At the heart of our courses are our painting classes, in which students learn to master objective representation, painting technique and art theory. We also run annual painting trips to locations such as the Royal Botanic Gardens in Cranbourne, the You Yangs and Hanging Rock.

By the end of the second year of the Diploma of Visual Art, you will have produced a body of work for exhibition. We encourage our students to produce exhibition work that is expressive of their own personal philosophy, and that has been developed with a focus on contemporary art practice.
