Visual Art Alumni

We are looking for you! Join your Visual Art Alumni Network.

We welcome past and current visual art students of VU to be part of the Visual Art Alumni community. The network provides a range of ongoing activities for those who share a similar educational background in the arts and want to continue the positive relationships developed at art school.

The Visual Art Alumni includes all past visual art students and staff from Victoria University (and it’s previous titles Footscray Technical College, Footscray College of TAFE, Western Melbourne College of TAFE) from 1976 to the present.

Previous Visual Art Alumni events include:

• Visiting artist talks and exhibitions in the Level 17 Artspace
• Describing the body – Master Life Drawing Class by Godwin Bradbeer
• Re:connect – an Alumni reunion and exhibition at the Level 17 Artspace
• Five – a curated exhibition by five Alumni (supported by Caroline Williams, prominent painter and industry representative)
• RearVision – an Alumni reunion and exhibition at Span Gallery
